Eyes on the future

Strategic trends

Digitisation
Internet and mobile phones are becoming increasingly important for information, advertising and selling. E-commerce, selling via webshops, will continue to grow. The same applies to advertising on the internet and via mobile phones. Companies will do more advertising using multiple channels, for example by combining the internet and direct mail. At the same time,
electronic communication is resulting in fewer letters.

Consumer power
Widespread use of social media has led to a growing demand by consumers for bespoke products and services. Companies will therefore have to adapt their products and services to the wishes of each individual customer.

Supply chain management
As a result of the developments described above, it will become increasingly important to have quick and efficient stock control processes and systems to enable us to deliver orders faster and reduce the cost to our customers.

International trade
The fourth and last trend is the rise in international trade with more international parcels as a result.
