Boudewijn de Groot stamp plays greatest hit
30 January 2012 at 09:00 CET - The Hague – January 1967 saw the launch of the single Land van Maas en Waal from the LP Voor de Overlevenden by popular Dutch singer-songwriter Boudewijn de Groot. Now, 45 years on, PostNL is issuing a stamp that lets you listen to his greatest hit using a smartphone.
The stamp is part of the “Nederpop” series, which also features other famous Dutch hits such as Sinds een dag of twee by Doe Maar, België by Het Goede Doel, Het is een nacht by Guus Meeuwis and Kronenburgpark by Frank Boeijen.
The Boudewijn de Groot stamp sheetlet is available from 30 January from PostNL post offices and www.collectclub.nl. All other stamps in the series can be purchased from www.collectclub.nl.
