The benefits of International Direct Mail
- Min. 500 items
- Attractive rates
How does it work?
Follow these steps to prepare and hand over your direct mail for delivery.
- Choose a Direct Mail category
There are three basic categories: Small, Large and Special. ‘Special’ Direct Mail shipments may consist of sealed items and / or include product samples and the like. In each case, items should fit through the letterbox.
- Make sure that items are designed and addressed correctly
To ensure timely delivery of your direct mail, items should be designed according to predetermined specifications. Please refer to the design specifications.
- Hand over your direct mail for delivery
How and where to hand over your mail depends on your location. Feel free to contact us for more information.
PostNL also offers a local solution with the Direct Entry service, making use of the network of national postal operators and alternative distributors. Local products in the country of destination will be used to distribute your shipment. Therefore you will be able to send your mail with a “local look”, making it look like your item originates from a local company. This can have an increasing effect on the response rate of your mailing.
Instead of paying an international rate, you will be able to make use of attractive local rates. In order to access this service, please keep in mind that you need to present your mailing by the terms and conditions of the local operator in the country of destination. With our local presence and expertise on the postal market, we can advise and assist you in your mailing.
What does it cost?
Direct mail deliveries are usually not time-critical. For that reason they are normally sent through our Standard Delivery service. While delivery time will be slightly longer, it means we can offer you a better rate. If faster delivery is required, we advise you to send an International Bulk Mail shipment (min. 100 items) with Priority Delivery.
Please note that in many cases we are able to provide a tailored solution, which means you may qualify for a discount depending on your delivery needs.
